ENERGY APPROACH TO THE EVOLUTION OF BRAIN

The basis of brain evolution is not Darwinian selection, not mutation, and individual intraspecific variability, which exists permanently in all populations. The direction of evolution is determined by those with the gene introduced into the next generation, rather than those whose genome has disappeared in the previous year. This individual variability provides a basis for conservation in the population of certain functions. It is as if aliens came and started to beat us a huge colander, the holes which would have slipped the most savvy. Then those who thinks worse, simply to have disappeared.
