Scientists believe that the residents of the Chinese countryside Litsyan in Gansu may be descendants of Roman legionaries. They claimed that this settlement was founded by Roman soldiers, captured in the war between China and the Huns in 36 BC. e. According to legend, they belonged to the lost army of the Roman general Mark Krass.
