The Japanese have discovered a new type of volcanoes

Japanese scientists discovered in the Pacific Ocean a new type of volcanoes, reports New Scientist. Naoto Hirano, who heads a group of researchers from Tokyo University of Technology, found the miniature volcanoes volume of 0,005 cubic miles. Their existence does not fit into any known theory of volcanism.
