In Russia, you may receive new innovative capital, Russia’s analogue of the “Silicon Valley”

Tomsk, Russia can claim the status of the innovation capital of the country, said the president of Russia Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting with the governor of Tomsk region Victor Kress. He explained that this is possible thanks to the vast educational and scientific potential of the region. ”

Management of Tomsk region has already made a proposal to create in Tomsk, Russia analog “Silicon Valley”: it would be cheaper. Officials argue that the fact that Tomsk has a well-developed infrastructure for the innovation economy, including the system of higher education, the special economic zone, the system of business incubators and so forth.
