Created not completely amorphous glass

Mark Edidzher (Mark Ediger) and his colleagues at the University of Wisconsin (University of Wisconsin-Madison) have created a so-called superstable glass, in which the molecules are much more streamlined than in the ordinary glass.

What was created, researchers from Wisconsin — not a crystal, but not ordinary glass. It is still amorphous, but the molecules in it is much more streamlined than traditional glass. And this led to the new glass turned out an unusually strong and stable.
