Mathematician Andrei Okounkov received the equivalent of the Nobel Prize

Fields Medal (Fields Medal), which is called the equivalent Nobelevki in mathematics, is awarded every four years for young scientists under the age of 40 years who have made the greatest contribution to the scientific study of their areas. Aug. 22, King Juan Carlos of Spain (Juan Carlos) handed the medal three scientists, and among them was Andrew Okounkov (Andrei Okounkov), Russia’s mathematics, a long time and very successfully employed in the United States.
